@ Jokergius Sorry but it does not increase the casting cost of not artifacts or enchantments. Enchanted Evening only effects permanents and a creature that's being cast is a creature spell not a permanent when it enters play it becomes an enchantment and is now susceptible to mass enchantment destruction, like Tempest of Light.
This card is very good even if used only for the last ability it's still only on mana more then Disenchant and it can be 'pre-paid' very good.

Solid in EDH, where artifacts and enchantments often replace sorceries and instants.

I run this instead of disenchants in my B/W Enchantment deck. Slows my opponent, uncounterable free disenchant if they decide to drop a Jitte, and pumps out Sigil of the Empty Throne tokens.

I run a copy of this in the sideboard of my enchantress deck, great in the mirror match.

I like this a lot, mostly because it actually does something besides sitting around looking stupid waiting for an artifact/enchantment to smash.

One of the best disenchants in the game. Better than seal of cleansing

Beautiful, beautiful artifact/enchantment hate. So fresh, too.

This thing's main advantage is raising the cost of artifacts, since things like Sensei's Divining Top and Umezawa's Jitte get thrown into just about any deck. The second ability's nice too.

Andrew's Occasional Random Card of the Day #22 - 7/19/2011 - Aura of Silence
This reprint caught me off guard when Tenth Edition came out. Still with the old strange Weatherlight art, and somewhat awkward ability set by modern standards. Also, it's called an Aura of Silence, but it's not an Aura. All-around surprising reprint.
But Tenth Edition brought some very neat reprints, and had the fancy return of Roman Numeral expansion symbols with its high-impact 'X'. At the time, the set felt awesome and new, like a new generation of core sets. But it was succeeded by Magic 2010, an entirely new revolution of new breed of core sets, and by these standards Tenth Edition seems very deprecated.
I thought the future would hold the old standard of boring reprints, but also new and strange and exciting reprints like this one, but instead we got brand new awesome cards like Skinshifter alongside exciting reprints, like Grim Lavamancer/a... (see all)

This is simply better than the old school card used in Parfait / Enchantress. I have 3 in the main deck, and up it to 4 when someone plays heavy Artifact or Enchantment, because casting a Black Lotus for 8 Mana isn't as nice :)
And then sac this to crap on their super breaking stuff is nice too.
