Or it would but you can't sacrifice one creature to have multiple sacrifice effects go off. Sacrificing one creature is part of the cost you have to pay for those effects. It would be like using one green mana to cast four Llanowar Elf otherwise.

It works surprisingly well in a burn deck. Drop it on turn two, keep on frying those blockers with Lightning Bolts and Flame slashes, and this guy goes to the dome once or twice.
If you find your opponent has built up an intimidating board position, just pop him. Consistently good for 5 or more damage, in the right deck.
Don't underestimate an attacker that still has damage potential after your opponent has walled up.
If you play with a couple of pseudo-bombs like fireball or Lava axe, this guy usually ends up tipping your opponent just in range of those crucial spells.

The card you're looking for is called Furnace Celebration, not Cerebral Eruption.

Why does it have such a bad rating ? it's cheap and it could work great with Clickslither or Arms Dealer.

But there is a red card that says: anytime you sacrifice a permanent you may have such-n-such deal 2 damage to target player. Cerebral eruption I believe.
