Pestilence. 'Nuff said. OK, Prodigal Sorcerer too. And all his cousins.

You think the tap cost would keep this from getting reprinted in a set? I mean it's pretty unusual and maybe it's smething they'd want to hold off on until they're ready to go all in on it. I would find it hilarious if they visited this setting in the future but decided not to reprint the card.
@ROBRAM89: Maybe the Lilianna Vess comic mentioned "skin witches" which sounds like it fits. On the otherhand though lots of people are thinking Innistrad takes place in Ulgortha and skin witches might not fit in there.

Can hit non-black creatures and is reusable removal, furthermore as an enchantment there are less cards out there that can deal with this than say, Royal Assassin. I think the biggest drawback (and sometimes potential gain) is that opponent's will often see this coming, and may block differently because of it. That said, if you know your opponent is going to block you could cast it post-combat phase essentially as a {4}{B}{B} kill spell that sticks around for later turns. Also could be fun with abilities that deal damage before other creatures such as first strike and double strike...although neither are seen too often in {B}

Combos with Burst of Energy, mostly because it makes Burst of Energy in some remote way useful.

There are a bunch of other cards that can untap permanents though. Interesting to see which say "permanent" versus "artifact, creature, or land".

The name and the effect remind me of "Justice", the stand of Enya Geil in JoJo's Bizarre adventure. Like this card, it's a mist which makes the smallest wounds open up into huge injuries.

A decent card when it was in standard, with a plethora of combo potential. Mabye not strong enough for extended but its downright amazing in EDH.

Man, I hope we get to find out what the flavor text is mentioning. Whenever the Overmother with her gelatinous hand and serrated feet comes in, I'm sure it's going to be very interesting. Especially since it'll give us this card in standard again.

It's repeatable black removal that can hit black creatures. Solid in my book.

Yes. Cards suck because they die to removal. :\

That's why I just play all-land decks. Land removal is hardly ever worth it for the cost.
