The answer is limited. This eats fliers in limited, and green decks in a draft don't have a problem tapping 6 forests to eat a random drake, and have a blocker/ attacker for later turns. This would have seen borderline constructed play if it was a 4/4 or 4/5.

This is actually the only Spider that naturally has Flash, so it does have niche in a Spider deck, as a way to activate Arachnus Spinner at instant speed.
