interestingly, if something like contempt is attached to the creature when it attacks you, it's effect still occurs due to contempt not actually targeting it as it is an enchantment.
one of my mates had platinum angel with this combo and said he had won and we had an argument(it wasnt preety) :/
it was at a prerelease and we actually laughed afterwards

Wow, got like 10 of these from when they were commons in Darksteel. Never realized its full potential back in the day, but it really shines with all the monstrosities in today's game!

@ ohcrazyone what kind of deck were you using? The creature may have shroud but a artifact destroying card could take this out and make platinum angel vulnerable.
