A beefier elf somewhat behind on the mana curve but it's ability seems underrated. Wither means it's damage to other creatures will be felt long after it has left the battlefield and it also solves the problem of annoying walls which might get in your way. For four mana you would often be casting a couple two mana elves, but these guys are a nice replacement and offer a good amount of utility to the elf library.

Yeah, these guys really aren't bad. Wither is a powerful mechanic; as a defender, seeing a 3/3 wither swing in is a scary thing. Either I take 3, or I make one of my nice, beefy 4/4 defenders... practically useless.

If this were in any other set it would be uncommon and have a rating of at least 3.5.

If it had first strike this would be a scary mofo.
