What about exiling cards with suspend and then using this?

For example use Selective memory to exile a bunch of cards with suspend (Corpulent Corpse for example) then use this to put two time counters on them all and you get them two upkeeps later. Do these exiled cards count as being suspended?

I got incredibly excited when you mentioned that, xTamx420. Unfortunately, I think a "suspended card" is defined as a card that:

a) has suspend
b) has time counters on it
c) is in the exile zone

So unfortunately those cards would not meet criterion b), since when you exile them they would not have any time counters on them. So they would not technically be suspended cards and, thus, no added time counters.

I was really disappointed when I started researching that, because the ability to have 4 Greater Gargadons, 4 Deep Sea Krakens, and 4 Ancestral Visions happen in 2 turns because of two under appreciated cards (this and Selective Memory) sounded utterly amazing to me. Alas.

Very useful in decks utilising suspend and/or vanishing, can disrupt decks using suspend/vanishing.

@xTamx420: Looks like the comprehensive rules say no. :<

702.60b A card is "suspended" if it's in the exile zone, has suspend, and has a time counter on it.

This is, of course, a heavily limited card, but it's sure not worse than Cyclical Evolution. It feels like a neat trick to me, if you can get multiple cards to hit 2 Time Counters, Dust of Moments will actually let you cast them all without warning, instantly.

"When the last is removed, cast it without paying its mana cost."

Which feels like it would be a possibly nice thing to do with something like Phthisis, a card that suffers from being a removal spell without the surprise.
