One mana for a 1/1, three mana for a coercion. Seems fairly priced to me.

Not great. A combined cost of four for that effect simply isn't playable.

This is one of the staple creatures used in Recurring Nightmare decks. Repeated Coercion is deadly against slower decks.

It says Thrull Surgeon, not Thrull Barber.

@LunarBlade: Difficult to run in constructed, yes, but massively playable in Shirei EDH.

Look:
-He's tutorable/wishable in G/B with multiple cards. Sorceries don't get that luxury; and the cards to use them cost more dough
-He hits anything. The fact you can hit a land T3 with no accel can mana-screw a player. Look at their hand and if everything costs 3 or more, nuke a land.
-He's recurrable. Sounds odd, but an Unearth on this guy + 2 more mana means you nail yet another important card.
-He can beat on them for 1 per turn until you're ready; which means he's also *never a dead card.* He can be pretty useless; but that's better than *totally useless* which is what most discard is passed about T4.
-He's a thrull, so specifically with Soul Exchange he can be useful for getting buffed fat.
