Back in the day when these were the only non-basic lands around.

There is absolutely no reason that anyone should ever rate the dual lands less than 5/5. Which is why we'll never see these cards printed again. 5/5

Ha! Four legs good, two legs better. Monday, August 24, 2009 will always be the day Tropical Island wasn't printed in Alpha and added red instead of green to your mana pool.

no thats not what it means... it means that it can tap for mana that either a mountain or island could produce. its like a mountain and island at the same time only u have to choose. u don't tap it to search your deck for a mountain or island u tap it as though it were either a mountain or island.
Hope I helped-
-1-1-13 1)/-\121< ()1\13 -- Th3 Dark 0n3..

Can you use Volcanic Island's effect to add another Volcanic Island to your mana pool

Its broken and increases the legacy pricetag to very high amounts. Also this cycle can never be reprinted so demand will remain at the top and supply will remain low.
