Fun fact: You can use this card in a Kithkin deck since the wording is " you may have target player lose 1 life.", not " you may have that player lose 1 life."
Considering this, the card is currently a bit underrated, despite the fact that splashing black won't be that useful in general, though.

I'm mad at this card. It was almost relevant in casual cube, when it appeared in the same draft as Cloudgoat Ranger. But then I read it more closely. :(

he should be a 2/3. Like this, he won't be able to block kithkin and live, which doesn't suit his hate.
Llorwyn block limited could be really funny though.
