The elves of Lorwyn base their admiration and group leadership on physical appearance. This is completely different from the way things are done in real life.

@Alsebra Another clear indication that sarcasm can't be differentiated in text form.

that's such an awesomely cheap card. only one green mana required in the cost, and besides giving all other elves a p/t boost of 1, you can therefore create a 2/2 elf warrior each turn for only one green mana. and this guy isn't even legendary, if you have two of these creatures out they will boost themselves to 3/3 and you can create two further 3/3 elf warrior tokens each turn for GG.
elf, being one of the most powerful tribal type anyways, got a further advantageous choice through this card.

Should it not be "prefect"?

Amazing how this may seem broken at first glance, and yet it's really balanced. Pretty obvious auto-include in any Elf deck.

@Kirbster - Really? Tell that to all the nerds that won homecoming king or queen in high school...
I'll grant that it's true past that point, but not always.

You guys all wrote this over a year ago, you guys should see how much this card is worth now! It's impossible to get! I tried buying some online but the credible sites are all sold out.

Run with Doubling Season and slap an Instill Energy on this bad boy. Then hit an Overrun for the win a few turns later.
