Superb art. A top uncommon fatty for re-animator. Similar to Hellkite, but with 3/1 creatures that stay around. What is not to like? Excellent card. And mimic vat makes it all the better.

A bit expensive, but with some Stinkdrinker Daredevils and Urza's Incubators your giants can get rolling.

"Har har, I got you my pretties!"
Lorwyn had all sorts of fun interactions between the tribes, some weirder than others. In this case, looks like giants use flamekin as living candles. I'm not sure whether that's funny or horrifying.
Obviously, this was meant for use in an Elemental deck, not a Giant deck.

Rather random, though technically not bad, I guess.
The numbers sort of work - a 5/5 and two 3/1's for 8. The ability at least works with itself, unlike other janky cards in this block, but the whole thing together has a clunky feel to it. It's a lot of work to just get a 5/5 that can be a 11/7 for one turn. Decent enough with Fling or similar effects, I guess.

Or even a fatty with Elemental Mastery on it, sac those and kill your opponent with a 5/5 with a +3 times X/ +1 times X creature!!

put this with hamletback goliath, and you get a 17/17 giant for one turn 0_0

Pretty good. It could cost less and be a rare.

One of Lorwyn's many clever cross-tribal cards. Elementals with Evoke had abilities that triggered either when they entered the battlefield or when they left; the latter category would be particularly interesting here as you could cast the creature normally and keep it for a bit, then sac it later to pump the giant.
