Really good fighter, especially for elves decks. Not bad at all.

I am sure I don't stand alone when I say this card feels broken in tribal. Though I am sure I am biased since I often face this card in casual and I don't play elf tribal myself.

In comparison with Goldmeadow Stalwart (who is very tough I think), Silvergill Adept, Squeaking Pie Sneak and Flamekin Bladewhirl this elf seems to be overpowered (Just like a lot of other elves from lorwyn).

The deathtouch just seems excessive.
The card was far enough over the curve as it was. I mean, the red version only got Elite Vanguard with a drawback, and yet, this card gets a 3/3 ahead of the curve, and deathtouch, keeping it viable early to mid-game.

Elves got the spoils in Lorwyn, but come Zendikar, we Goblins restored our place as the king of all MTG tribes!

I love this card. It's a two-mana 3/3 with deathtouch that just fits into any elf deck.
