"Wait. If the OLDEST treefolk was but an acorn, then where did the acorn come from? "
from the chicken of course.

If anything could justify the nightmare of getting five colors of mana simultaneously, this is it. Hits the field hot, stomps on everything, defends at the same time, and once it's actually set up, 5 mana to revive anything isn't so bad. Vigilance and Trample on the same card is just... Ow. Pretty weird name and spookycool concept too.

with Smokebraider and Flamekin Harbinger you can reliably get 1 of each mana for elementals on the third or fourth turn.

If you could play this from your graveyard, it would be a 6/5 rating.
For added fun, use it to Champion itself with a Nova Chaser. Every turn.

Goes great with Evoke. Yea, you can't Evoke from the graveyard, but they still go great together.

According to the Oracle text, "This ability does not allow you to pay the evoke cost of the targeted Elemental card."

@Eved - Smokebraider and Nova Chaser don't do it for you? Not to mention there's a Lord for elementals in that also lets you evoke them... And isn't the Elemental tutor in Red? :\ How is red "iffy"?

Ummm this makes my 5 color elemental deck just awesome now. This was the card to total make it solid and tied it togeather. Now a few more good Elemental Tribal Spells and it'll be a done deck. :)
