Jace is great, I love him (although the alternative art looks better) but I wish his -1 ability was counter target card, but then his ability would be instant speed, hmm, you know, I think I would be happy if his cost was 2UUU and he used his -1 to counter at instant
it feels more blue to be countering then milling, although my mill deck is mono blue ;)

even if you're not in a milling deck, jace has the focus to allow you to make an opponent discard 40 cards in 9 turns, combined with the fact that they have 9 extra cards almost 50 cards in there deck would have been used already. the best part is that even though your opponent might have 9 extra cards if you want to hold off on his effect for an extra turn you can have 11 extra cards at your disposal... not too shabby. all in all this guy is a bamf, he's in my opinion one of the top 3 planeswalkers. i do however think that elspeth (precious invincibility for all your cards) and lithiana (all the creatures in the graveyard come into play under your control) still have him for final effects though.
