He can block 9 1/1s and survive. That's pretty sweet.

Quite possibly the most under-rated card in the entire Lorwyn block. When you consider how much this guy can do for you with first strike, vigilance, and block any number (for four mana?! Insane!), I just can't fathom why everyone's running Cloudgoat Ranger in all the standard Kithkin decks. Ridiculously powerful, lifesaving card.

Probably my favorite Kithkin ever in any set. This guy was in the very first deck I bought, and even then I knew how good it was. The art is also awesome.

Maybe it's the three of them working in such concert that nothing can get by them?

You would think this card could only block three creatures judging by its name, but apparently R&D felt like this was a better way of doing it. Not a bad card, just weird flavor due to it being able to block limitless creatures on any given turn.

I run two of these in a mono-white kithkin aggro, and it's pretty ridiculous at times. Considering the kind of deck you (should) run Thoughtweft Trio in, the amount of pump it usually gets makes it somewhere around a +7/+7 with first strike and vigilance that can also block ANY number of creatures. Really, the last ability on this card has saved me from so many token decks.
"You'll attack with 20 1/1 tokens? Ummmm.....ok I'll block all of them with this one guy. Thanks."

I like this card more then I like my Baneslayer Angel.
Vigilance is what makes me like it more.
The multi-block is just icing.

More than any other card, this one makes me want to build a Kithkin deck, along with Preeminent Captain and Kinsbaile Borderguard. I love the image of these three little guys taking down a whole army of goblins by themselves.

They really thought Champion was a bigger drawback than it is, didn't they?

This Trio is like a Whirlwinding Barbarian. If you've ever played Diablo II you know what I mean. Great on both offense and defense like a great white card should be. It hacks away like a whirling dervish.
