I use him in my Dragon Deck where I run 4 Crucibles, 4 Goblin Kings, and 4 Skirk Prospectors. He gets both Dragon and Goblin buff, and I can put him on the chopping block for mana if I have to. Not the best card, but solid - 3/5.

I like him as a cheap creature in my red giant deck, enabling the stupid Blind-Spot Giant and quickly raising the count for Thundercloud Shaman.
