you apparently misread the text, all combat damage that would be dealt by enchanted creature is prevented, not all combat damage that would be dealt to it. If you want to pair an Aura with Entangler, use Inviolability instead...

An interesting Pacifism variant, something not often seen in Black...However it still allows for blocking to occur, so it isn"t that useful against bigger creatures since they can still block a creature and survive...
