It's strange to me to see CoP's rated below 3 stars. When I was starting out, if white players didn't run some of these in their main deck, they had them in their sideboard. Then they were replaced (from what I saw) by Runes of Protection, which I thought ruled because it was a win-win situation as far as I'm concerned.

Awesome combo synergy, or just general protection for 1 colorless. Always a great card.

This and black are the most annoying COPs - when I see a red/white deck drop this or a black/white deck drop the black one I unload immediately before Pyrohemia, Pestilence or whatever other trick they have up their sleeve hits the table.
