Actually quite an effective sideboard card against red decks.

Its comparison to Kor Firewalker depends on how creature-based red decks are.

All of these types of card are sideboard cards--until you know what your opponent is playing, wait on it.

This turns your opponent's Lava Spikes into Scorching Spears, and turns their Scorching Spears into Blessed Wine (minus the slowtrip).
