I was going to write something here, but, y'know, I... forgot.

Frantic Search would be better, if it wasn't restricted. This is a good two-way card in a Discard Jar deck. Megrim and UWD allow this to be used offensively and if short on BS and Ponder allows it to be used for searching/defense. I found it to be a good match for Hymn in Blue flavour. That and because you can use more than 1, fuel for FOW too if need arises. Not the best but good.

If you want to megrim punish your opponent in blue, wistful thinking would be better than this. don't forget to add urza's guilt.

I guess it makes sense that forgetting is Careful Study in reverse.

Frantic Search or Ideas Unbound is better if you plan on using it for yourself.
Burning Inquiry might be better (at least cheaper) when using Megrim/Underworld Dreams or similar effect, in case using red instead of blue isn't a problem for you.
