So the hardest creature in the game to kill would be a WUBRG Snow Artifact Creature- Elf Spirit.

@Mode: There are actually quite a few.
Try Rend Spirit, Rend Flesh, Go for the throat, Damnation, Assassinate, betrayal of flesh, Bone splinters, Brainspoil, Broken Visage, Chill to the bone, Consume the meek, death rattle, death stroke, decree of pain, devour in shadow, disembowel, Do or Die, Endemic plague, extinction, Eyeblight's ending, fatal blow, Feast of Blood, Flesh Allergy, Forced March, Gloomlance, hero's demise, Hex, ... (see all)

I'm actually surprised about that card. Sure, 5 cmc for creature removal is expensive, but this is possibly one of very few monoblack spells without the nonblack clause.
Edit (Since 11/21/2009):
Wow jsttu, that is one exhaustive list!
I have to admit those are far more than i remember, then again as you said most of them still have restrictions, and i was focused on the line "Destroy target creature. (Period)", especially on a Common card. I guess we can both agree that this doesn't happen too often, which was pretty much my actual point afterall :P
@HuntingDrake: Now i know why this card felt so familiar Oo

Haha... "Weed" Struggle.
Anyway, an ok card, in the right situation... perhaps and anti-Doran deck?
No? Ok.

5 mana is about the benchmark for an unconditional kill spell, like fissure.

The flavor is you smoke weed to kill the creature, so you gain life.

Creature 1: "Duuuude... why are we struggling again?"
Creature 2: "I dunno, let's get some Doritos."
C1: "Yeah, cool."
Planeswalker 1: "GODDAMMIT GUYS"
Planeswalker 2: "lulz"
