the cards from this cycle with evasion are not too bad, those with colors supporting token generation like bitterblossom or creakwood liege are even better

I think this card is actually especially awesome with any black token producer like skeletal vampire. It's essentially somewhere around 5/5 for 4. Nightmare is usually better unless you use a lot of non basic lands that aren't swamps.

I'd been told that swamps count as black permanents, which they don't. This card just got far less valuable. Sure, a 5/5 with fear is nice, but being able to drop a 12/12 with fear for 4cc on turn 5-6 was amazing.
