I don't understand why no one saw this before.
T4: 4 forests. Play this. Search for 4 Cloudposts. Next turn you will have 16/17 colorless mana. Good for artifact green decks, even though they're uncommon.

God, this thing is an awesome card. Drop your silly basic lands and pull out lands that tap for 2, as well as combo lands (Tomb and Coffers for example?). It will also trigger your landfall, so having something like Rampaging Baloths or Ob Nixilis, the Fallen could do some serious damage.
On top of that, the land sac isn't part of the cost, so this getting countered wouldn't backfire like Devastating Summons would. Which is great! I wish more modern cards would do this.

This card is a lot of fun. Slap Adventuring gear on your Plated geopede and Soul's Fire it after dropping this card and sacrificing as many lands as you can.

Scapeshift + Lotus Cobra = Decree of Savagery
Scapeshift + Vinelasher Kudzu = lots of +1/+1 counters.
Scapeshift + Baru, Fist of Krosa = total trampage

the urborg/coffer and tron combos seems the best, but Gaea's Cradle w/ dryad arbors, or Tolarian Academy with Artifact land doesn't seem half bad either.
what really made this card is that the Sacrificing lands IS NOT part of the cost, but rather the resolution...therefor this card isn't associated with the same risk as certain others.

This card is amazing with landfall.
And being able to search for land that itself counts the amount and type of land is amazing. Imagine sacrificing 4 land to get Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, 1x Maze of Ith, and 2x Cabal Coffers...that's 6 mana next turn with +2 mana every time you play another land.
Alternatively if you control at least 6 land, you can search for Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and a mixture of Mountains and "Fetchland". Searching for Fetchland lets you double your landfall.
