If you only like this for the evoke you might want to consider Reckless Charge.

Wow, I'm surprised this card is so low. It's usually a 4/2 (temporarily) for 3 or it can pass the haste on. A must have with Nova Chaser

Obviously a good card. Evoke cards tend to either be obviously good (the cheaper ones) or obviously terrible (the expensive ones like faultgrinder)

Just noticed the haste. Wow. Combos with itself well enough for a turn 3 4/2 haste, which can be painful to deal with, or works wonders with the likes of Nova Chaser late game.

Reckless Charge is good in a deck that wants you to cast spells like Burning Vengeance and Guttersnipe. Acolyte is good in a deck with tribal synergy that uses cards like Flamekin Harbinger and Mimic Vat.
