"Voice of Reason" sounds more like something that should have protection from Green, the color most closely aligned with nature and therefore has a lack of formal thought process.

I think you could make that argument for any color. Pro-Red because red is chaotic and passionate. Pro-Black because black is selfish and empowered, ergo cannot be reasoned with. But I agree. Pro-Blue is a bit of a stretch. If anything, I would think this would BE Blue. From the flavor text, I think they were trying for more of a moral or ethical form of reasoning, not logical. But "madness escaping" sounds much more anti-black than blue to me.
