I do so miss this art style. This, to me, is exactly as a Phyrexian should look (with, obviously, an appropriate nod from Mortis Dogs) comparable in my mind to the original Phyrexian Hulk, Order of Yawgmoth and Phyrexian Colossus art.
Gameplay-wise, it is still decent. I'm admittedly one of those players that begins to wring his hands at CMC of 5 (without it having quite the bang for the buck that I'd ressurrect) but it at least seems to have some decent bang for its buck, having both the incentive not to kill it and the potential to sacrifice it. All-in-all, I rather like it.

@dexal good point, clearly they are of the same evolutionary lineage. these were slightly better when damage used the stack, but still, useful little mutts. Would be nice if the activated ability cost 0 to discourage spot removal, but whatever, it's an uncommon. 3/5

Wow these guys are actually still okay. Comparable to Pitchburn Devils with Nausea instead of Lightning Bolt, and since nausea is normally a sorcery, and this gives you a card, I think it's worth the cost.
Also the art is b!tchin'.

If this is what counts as a dog, I'd hate to see a Phyrexian wolf....

Is it just me, or does this look suspiciously like Mortis Dogs?

Really cool card, though it is also unfortunately very underwhelming.......

I would love to see this reprinted. It would be an absolute star in Limited.
