This does not work with Sigil of the Empty Throne , as Enchanted Evening makes all permanents enchantments, while Sigil of the Empty Throne activates whenever an enchantment spell is cast. If the spell is not an enchantment naturally when it is cast, then it cannot be affected by Enchanted Evening, and when it comes into play, it is no longer a spell being cast, it is a permanent.
With regard to Opalescence, then yes, all lands will become 0/0 creatures and immediately die, unless somehow otherwise boosted with something like a Castle. This could easily wipe out all of your opponents lands for the rest of the game as well, so even if you do not have any way to protect your own creatures, if you have enough of an advantage on the battlefield, then this could be enough to win you the game.

@applecorn: This cannot be combined with Presence of the Master. Presence of the Master cares about enchantment spells, not permanents.

@GhelmaoftheSimic: Creature Planeswalkers would be essentially creatures with loyalty counters and loyalty abilities. They can attack and block, as well as activate one of their planeswalker abilities once each turn. They are sent to the graveyard if their toughness or their loyalty counters go below 1.

There's so much mass enchantment hate out there, that this + Elspeth, Knight-Errant could be put into good use. She'll protect herself a lot better as a Planeswalker Enchantment as well.

Personally I like Cleansing Meditation better than Calming Verse. I find it funny that Eternal Witness would just grab Cleansing Meditation back from the graveyard every time I cast it (w/ threshold). Also, it's like getting a free time walk.
