Fail. Death touch does not help this creature it has to DO DAMAGE to receive the benefit of death touch, hence why first strikers don't get killed by death touch.

As for the card, its very good, give it a lot of power, first strike, death touch, etc. and its a board cleaner. And even then it allows you to attack unblocked for a turn without that.

Very powerful card for one mana, however it's a late game card, so it's a bad turn 1 drop.

I think Dead-Iron Sledge is the equipment you're looking for.

Gaze of the Gorgon, just in case they thought they'd have another go at it.

Yes, I believe the card you are thinking of is Gorgon Flail.

Also, LOL at the flavor text.

I don't mind this for a turn one drop at all. You drop this on turn one, one or two other elves on turn two, and a timberwatch elf on turn three, and with a wirewood pride in your hand, you can generally use that to stop an opponent from being able to put out creatures. Not to mention enchanting it with regeneration.

I love this card, especially this art for it. It's humiliating all around. Piddly little 0/1 elf, dancing around in a loincloth next to a stupid-looking... Whatever the hell that thing is. You break him, then he teabags your opponent while they cry tears of shame.

Another one of my favorite Elf cards. Not only is it powerful because it allows you to go virtually unblocked for a turn, but it is one of my favorite flavored cards of all time. I like to put this card under my playmat and reveal it when I when :D

Your father was a Hamster and your mother smelled of Elderberries!"

"Okay, Urza,

An incredible little 1 mana elf with so many applications. Besides the obvious "kill their team" utility this allows for, also note that it is a Bloodthirst enabler, a means for green to push through fatal damage with their fatties, a friend to Scroll Thief and other non-evasive creatures with powerful combat damage abilities, and covers for Phage the Untouchable. Do not sleep on this card - a great common 1-drop that remains good even later in the game.
