Urza's block - even after all these years, Wizards still had no idea what it was doing.

First turn - Forest, Llanowar Elves. Alright... that's not too bad.

Second turn - Tap both for Priest of Titania; play Gaea's Cradle, tap for Rofellos. Hrmmm....

Third turn - A second forest means access to 11 mana. Wait, what?

What are you even going to do with that much mana? Play a Joraga Warcaller with 5 kickers? Follow up with an Immaculate Magistrate and a couple Imperious Perfects? Having fun yet?

You are all aware that Rofellos is banned as an EDH general, right? So is Braids.

@Nate_Prawdzik: Why stop at just a third-turn Emrakul, the Aeons Torn?

T1: Play Forest, cast Exploration, play another Forest, cast Concordant Crossroads. (Cards remaining = 3)
T2: Draw a card for the turn, play 2x Forest, cast Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary and tap it for GreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreen, cast Primeval Titan (for 2x Wirewood Lodge) and attack with it (for another 2x Wirewood Lodge). (Cards remaining = 0)
T3: Draw a card for the turn, attack with Primeval Titan (for 2x Forest), tap 4x Forest and Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary for a total of GreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreen, cast Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and draw 4 cards, play 2x Forest/autoc... (see all)

I picture him being drunk and singing: "To hell with rules, this is Urza's Block!"

It's a shame though that he doesn't have a flavor text...

It is simply an awesome card. Get him out in the first three turns and the game is probably yours. His ability to get out fatties in unmatched. And yes, he is often times eats removal right out of the gate, but having the ability to activate him once is good enough

@Ragamander: Oh jeeze that's hilarious! And it got me thinking. You can totally do this on turn two without having to put in any cheeky cards that aren't good for anything but the combo, but only if you're on the draw, or playing multiplayer (or otherwise have 10 cards in hand), though it abuses an infinite combo if you don't like that sort of thing, because Rofellos plus equipment that untaps him (Umbral Mantle, Sword of the Paruns) is totally broke:

T1: Draw a card for the turn, Play Forest, cast Exploration, play another Forest, cast Concordant Crossroads. (Cards remaining = 4)
T2: Draw a card for the turn, play 2x Forest, cast Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary, then tap him and cast Umbral Mantle for 3, floating Green, then equip the mantle to Rofellos for 0, and tap the remaining 2 Forests and use ... (see all)
