So he goes to the top when he dies. There are a few ways to fix this:
A) Like Moleland said, just don't play him for a while after you redraw him. Problem of not getting more cards is solved.
B) Just don't attack/block with him. He stays on the field instead of becoming your next draw.

Back when I started Magic, this card gave me hell when I had to keep playing it to block a bigger attacker and never draw anything new to help. auto-dredge without milling, but annoying card!

This guy is really good, but like many other cards in MTG, only if you use him right. If you expect him to just help out some random deck, he won't very much. BUT in a zombie deck, or just straight up in a combination with the Deathmark Prelate, you've got yourself one of the nastiest combos in all of MTG. You get to kill a non-zombie every turn, as long as you've got seven available lands.

Wow, look at that art. The person in white is doing the normal thing when you see a zombie rising from the grave: Fleeing. The one in red has got some cojones, he tries to push the zombie back in the grave! That must be Chuck Norris in an alternate universe!

This card is pretty amusing, but if an opponent has some way of killing it over and over, you might as well concede. On the other hand, if you have a card that lets you draw many cards in a turn (Necropotence or Psychic Vortex for example), it is playable. I would like to see this come up in a draft. (Thats the only time you would see someone playing with a card like this, unless they were just messing around)

I remember this card causing so much trouble back when I started playing. It just wouldn't die!
Now with cards like Death Baron to increase its potency, I wouldn't be so quick to call it a bad card. Sure, don't waste it if you're needing your lands or other spells, but it's pretty good once you've got some Zombie lords on the battlefield.
