You could play a flickerwisp, then activate the ability a few times while the wisp is still on the stack. When it comes back, it will be on your side.

This card could be very fun to play with. Also, you can activate it's ability a bunch of times on one stack. That would let you deal a bunch of damage without worry about losing it. The card clearly is horrible outside a casual game, but its pretty sweet anyways.

Not worth the cost even with a way to boost your chances. Unless you are using the coin flips to win the game with chance encounter and even then..

Play with mana screw and krark's thumb for infinite mana, then stack the trigges like with goblin cannon! Of course you could just replace it with goblin cannon altogether...

Delightful multiplayer card that plays nicely with Zedruu.

At face value, not very good.
The coin flip deck I built avoids chance encounter but makes good use of this card with:
Krak's Thumb
Chandra's Spitfire
Karplusan Minotaur
Talon of Pain

First thing, best flavour text ever!
Second, like hid@n said, you have to stack the ability so you have to deal as much damage as you can and then pass the enchantment. If the opponent lose because of it, it doesn't matter the whole coin game... Obviously, you have to have infinite mana (or a very large number), but it works, and goes around a lot of prevention effects, like the Circle of Protection: Red. And, Gabbalis, why you should replace it with goblin cannon? If you have a infinite mana engine, 2 mana doesn't make any difference, and like I've said, if the opponent dies either side effect doesn't matter. However, this is much more funnier in multiplayer games. Only reason that comes in mind is that the cannon is colorless, but being an artifact is easier to destroy, if you have to wait a little to complete the combo.
I'd play this before cannon without any thought.
