Fantastic card for a number of reasons
1) thoroughly amusing and extremely intuitive design.
2) great mirror to Boggart Loggers.
3) one of only 4 creatures in all of magic to have Plainswalk.

There are plainswalkers in Shadowmoor!

But what did Nibb and Gyik do with their axes? Never mind tool safety - it seems like they don't know much about tool care at all.
HairlessThoctar, you've got it right on all three counts. =) I think that "Destroy target Scarecrow or Plains" is a little less intuitive than "Destroy target Treefolk or Forest", chiefly because there's nothing inherently about the scarecrow tribe. Still, though, I really like the parallels between these guys and Boggart Loggers!

Just killed a Reaper King in sealed with this (sideboarded it in). That, undoubtedly, feels GOOD.
Like the art too, reminds me of the wicker man.

I always mainboard 4 Great Walls in case of this beast. It's terrifying...

How exactly does Plainswalk work, anyways? Are they experts at sneaking around in wide open spaces?

It's good, but it loses half of its functionality if someone drops a Great Wall.

Those plainswalk cards are getting out of hand. I might have to maindeck Great Wall. ;)

Back in the day, when I found a card like this, I would design a deck around it. It has style, and I respect that.
