NOBODY TOSSES A DWARF.
Fortunately, nobody counters a dwarf, either. Not if they've played Magic for more than two weeks, anyway.

2 power for 2 mana was really solid in those times...

Would actually be decent if it worked against Goblins.

Hehe, i love how it is specifically attuned not just to a colour, but to a creature. Soooo specific it's hilarious :D

Yet another example of the vanishing Dwarves in Magic.
I guess if most of them were this limited, it's no wonder they vanished.
And why doesn't it work on Goblins?!

Because Dwarves and Orcs had some rivalry, but it was lame, so Wizards stopped it.

This has Fallen Empires written all over it: the art and flavor make you want to put it in a deck, but you never do. That's how terrible it is.
Not a good card, not a decent card, not even in his own time. I can't remember anyone playing with this guy in their deck. See Ironclaw Orc for a better red two-drop creature of the era. Better than Dwarven Catapult? Sure. But if that's the standard...

Flavor text alone deserves a 4 star.

Hose those orc decks!
5/5 essential sideboard against orc decks. Heck, better maindeck four of them in case your opponent plays orcs, just in case.
