Man, I used to use this creature way back when in a casual green deck. Craw Wurm, Radjan Spirit, Whirling Dervish, Gaea's Liege and Force of Nature too. Good times.

If I saw this in Magic 2012, I'd draft it third or fourth pick. That's pretty good for a common from Homelands.

why is this rated so low? a 6/2 for four is like a lightning elemental for blocking. how often will this even live a turn haha or at least keep your opponents from attacking with valuable creatures. not bad, but only good for keeping out for a turn or two, but does kill 90% of creatures

It's just not that good. It can be killed by a Shock, for crap's sake! And when I sink 4 mana into something (in green, of all things) it should be either an enabler like Elvish Piper or some big-@ss fatty. If I wanted quick, easy damage, I'd run Ball Lightning or it's bastard love child Groundbreaker
