It's a creature from Legends that's still competitively priced and entirely within its color's domain.
I just had a freaking heart attack.

I'm amazed this was in Legends, as I'd actually use it. Creatures in that set were crap.

Guest...Pegasus Charger is pretty close to this guy...just less tribal interaction and an easier to play casting cost...and common.

I like the legends legendary creatures, but not anything else...
Except this card, which is basically almost a nighthawk equivalent.

The fact that this is on the reserved list makes me groan. a 2/2 first strike for 1WW is so basic a creature, the inability to reprint it is just plain dumb. It's not like Moat, with its unique and powerful ability. It's like, if R&D needs a somewhat efficient flying first-striker for a set, they can't make it! This shouldn't even be rare!

lightning19, this is on the Reserved List, so it can't be reprinted...Skyhunter Skirmisher is as close as we can get...

Why is this reserved? It seems quite flavorful and balanced to me (except of the thunder stuff already mentioned)

It's stuff like this, not the rare expensive cards, that are the best argument against the reserve list. This would be a great core set reprint at common or uncommon, but the reserve list forbids them from doing even a functional reprint.

Wow! A card with Watership Down flavor text? Cool! I kind of wish they never got rid of the old literature references in flavor text.
The text is referring to a train, by the way.
