Well, you have to pay 1 life, but look what you gain in return: A 1/1 flying Faerie token.This could at least block a enemy creature which would make you also demage, so you payed 1 life to prevent 2 to x demage or destroying maybe destroying a oponnent creature (If it was a 1/1 creature) And because its black and flying, you can block nearly everything, also creatures with Fear. Besides you can use the Tokens to attack and if your oponnent have no flying creatures he lose maybe more than 1 life, because the Token attacks more than 1 time. Of course this is only in a normal, random black Deck, in a Faerie Deck there are still more possibilities to use this tokens. And this happens every turn ! Sounds nice, right ? But teh fact, that it must happen every turn is the big bad point: You may pay you to death with this. Therefore you have to use it very careful.
