The first thing that comes to mind when I see this card is the "beauty obsessed" elves in Lorwyn.
I wonder what would happen if they met?

Bonus points for the creepy artwork. I'd run this version over the M2010 one any day.

Never understood the original art, but it's iconic and still one of the best known. Creepy as hell though...

Along with Birds of Paradise, the original mana-creature and the center of almost every elf deck ever made...

BOLT THAT DAMN ELF!!!!oneshiftone!
If you don't, its already game over. No need to ask, no matter the cost, KILL IT before it gets to lose summoning sickness. Otherwise the game's already decided.

Disgusting. Is this a cyborg? Is it a mutant? Is it some sort of zombie Frankenstein's Llanowar Monster?
I don't know, but it shouldn't have been printed with this art.

I guess Maddocks wasn't sure what direction to go with Sengir Vampire...? Wizards obviously wasn't too concerned...
On a related note; how do I make the autocard refer to a specific version of the card. I.e the Anson Maddocks version of the vampire
