The best art, unless you are a girl.

Unlike a lot of cards in early magic, they got this one right the first time.

Whenever the Llanowar Elves kick back with a forty of Olde Elvish, they pour a little on the ground for their fallen homeboys, considering that nature's portion.

"Is your blind date here yet? I'm sure it will be fine - you said he's an elf and they're all supposed to be DAAAAAAAMMMNNNN!"

This card is the perfect first turn for almost any deck with green. The Anson Maddocks art with a black border is the very embodiment of class. My favourite elf. He was cool back when elves weren't universally reviled and feared, and is still relevant today. 5/5

Not a ton of reasons not to throw these guys into a deck. Helps amp up to get those big Green beasts out. Also that's one punk rock looking Elf dude. Never understood what was going on with him.
