I wouldn't say it's better than Exotic Orchard. I'd say they're about equal, exotic is just a land and doesn't cost mana, but this can be played as mana acceleration (assuming you want your opponents colors.) I personally only have one deck that would benefit, and it's a creature stealing deck. Something like this could be acceleration until I get a creature with a color based activated ability.

Now it's acceleration AND color fixing.

Another attempt at making a fixed mana-fixer after the broken jank that was the cycle of Moxen. Efficient fixing in ME3 limited. Other than that in modern magic Exotic Orchard is better if your into that sort of thing. Still not that good since its so unreliable. Use signets or heck, even Everflowing Chalice even though it doesn't produce colored mana.

Reasonable acceleration for its time since, at worst, it would provide colorless mana.

The card is fine.

This art, though. Ugh. It looks like something from a Cartoon Network show

Nothing on a Magic card should EVER look like its from a Cartoon Network show.
