A weak card, barely useful in limited sometimes. Compare to Guildpact's Mourning Thrull to see how much better you can do for constructed and casual play.

I love the way this card looks with the original frame and black border

Bog Imp has some of the best flavor text! I collect them because they suck so much.

I'm less annoyed by how bad this card is than I am by the fact it was reprinted at all. Ugh!

It's too bad this card was never very good because I love the art and flavor and I would really enjoy playing this against other retro decks. I agree with SarcasmElemental that the original The Dark version looks the best. That set had such a great feel to it. It's too bad that most of the cards of that set were exceedingly weak because the art and flavor is some of the best. It was one of the sets that really drew me into the Magic universe. Even if Bog Imp never makes it into another deck, I'll still linger for a moment when I'm sifting through my old cards and come across this guy just to savor the art and the memories.

Aesthetically pleasing in every way, at least in the original black border.
