These guys cost one extra for a Canopy Spider but give an exalted bonus to a lone attacker. Not bad but not great.

Pros like me know that mtg has fliers, so reach is relevant.

why? Running him in a bant deck seems pointless with all the flyers blue and white are packing...

I would only use him in an EDH or Singleton exalted deck.... which is exactly what I plan to do.
