It might be pricey, but I agree with thopterthallid in that this is quite useful late in the game when life and cards matter more.

Let's do a little math, shall we?
Two cards at sorcery speed = 1UU
Seven life at sorcery speed = 2WW, though WOTC seems to be coming to terms with the fact that life gain is absolute jank in constructed context and has pushed it as low as humanly possible.
So offsetting the cost of these two spells by ramming them onto one card, the cost being lowered by the higher number of varied colored mana symbols, a spell recquiring multiple colors being fundamentally more difficult to cast, this card should cost some where between 4 and where it's at currently.
I propose 3WU.
Shame too, the art and the story for this are fantastic.
I could see myself enjoying this in a casual setting and maybe EDH.

Hmm... Its a tad pricey, but defenatly gives you a decent advantage later in the game, when 7 life and 2 cards can make a difference.
Not sure how much I'd want to kiss a sweaty knight's forehead though ;)

this is one of my favrite cards not alot of people like it but it has saved me so many times i like makeing creative decks ones most people dont use and the deck i use mana floods fast so this is a prefect card to keep in it

This card is very playable, since it massively likely to be in a U/W control deck where drawing/lifegain is critical to success.
Combine this with U/W staples like Wall of Denial and you're in business.
