Just because it breathes fire, doesn't mean it will stay around breathing for long :(

To be fair, his fire breathing could be quite useful, I mean in straight combat if you were willing to boost up his attack power, he could take down a really big creature. However, if I'm playing a green deck I don't typically like to take the red mind set of.. sure I'll boost up my creature for a lot of mana then let it die since its toughness is still 5 when it goes up against that godsire or that flameblast dragon. I sort of want to keep my creatures on the field instead. He's still not bad at all, at 5/5, and he could be played pretty easily in a red deck since he only takes 1 green. I'll stick to my woolly thoctars.

It's decent in a sealed draft. Otherwise, it doesn't make my deck.

Meh... as already stated, there are way better multi-colored green/red creatures. He is ok, but that is about it. The pseudo-firebreathing was not great back in the days of Dragon Engine, let alone now.
2/5

It emerged out of the cave, hunger and ferocity in its eyes, and nobody cared.

He really isn't all that bad, unless you are relying on him alone, he works best in a team.

I don't like this card at all simply because it's not quite cheap enough to be really attractive. The firebreathing ability is too costly and the right moment to use it just never seems to arrive. I would always pick other multi-coloured Naya creatures which give you more for your mana.
