I absolutely love this thing. Running alongside Tidehollow Strix (which is very easy to do) or similar cards, Agony Warp produces beautiful card/creature advantage more often than not.

I don't see why Grixis Control doesn't try this. This thing has saved me more times than I can count.
First of all, it's -3/-3 for two. There are a few of those floating around, but the fact that you get two targets is what makes this so great.
-It kills Kor Firewalker. Terminate and Lightning Bolt can't.
-It lets Sphinx of Jwar Isle actually, *gasp* beat Baneslayer Angel in combat! At the same time, you can kill off one of their other creatures (by targeting Baneslayer with the -3/-0, you make her a 2/5, and unable to kill Sphinx. Exalted withstanding, of course.) with the -0/-3.
-It can deal with Bloodbraid Elf cascading into Goblin Ruinblaster, by -3/-0ing the Goblin and -0/-3ing the Elf. You've saved yourself 5 damage and have another turn to draw an answer to the Goblin.
-It kills anything that Eldrazi Monument ha... (see all)

Reducing power is a blue ability, actually.

Pretty nice combo with Merfolk Thaumaturgist, kill one thing, weaken another, then kill it, too.

It's like a lightning helix with advantages and disadvantages all around. This requires a lot more skill to play than burn spells, but it's a lot more fun when pulled off

Having a toughness of 0 is not the same as having toughness, but sustaining damage equal to or greater than that toughness. Though the creature has sustained deadly damage, its toughness remains.
Dealing damage is not reducing toughness.
Reducing toughness is not dealing damage.

Such a great card. I can kill one creature or potentially kill two if I have the right creatures out. Oh, and Pago-Pago, if the creature has a toughness of zero its dead, (even if its indestructible, the creature will still die).

Good card, has more versitility than Last Gasp, but also has more colors in the Mana cost. All around good utility card.

I've always liked this card, ever since the early spoilers. Great as a removal, awesome as a combat trick. 5/5.
