Since regeneration only prevents things from being destroyed, you cannot use Metallurgeon to recycle an Executioner's Capsule after activating its ability, since it requires you to sacrifice (not destroy) it.

I have a question about this guy...
Since his text doesn't explicitly say "artefact creatures", does it mean that I can regenerate my executioner's capsule or scourglass with him?

thnx, but that wasn't my question... I know very well that it's impossible to regenerate something that's sacrificed.
My question was wether this guy was able to regenerate non-creature artefacts, becouse in my knowledge only creatures could regenerate in the past, apparently, this guy made regeneration for non creatures possible. Someone else allready told me that now. When I knew that I upped the rating I gave this card.

Love the flavor text. The card doesn't jump out at me as something amazing though. I just cant help but think of splicers.
