Green control? Sounds interesting.
And this card possibly even helped inspiring the rhystic mechanic from Prophecy.
If this card would get timeshifted it would certainly be blue these days.

Actually a really good EDH card. Most people don't look at green players at end of turn or worry about what they can do if your tapped out...until now.

This should be reprinted in Mirrodin Besieged.

They fit in green because it's an anti-artifact card, even if HOW they do it is something one would normally expect from blue. (Maybe a functional reprint would be green-blue? That should be enough to keep it from getting interdicted by the Reserved List, as Porphyry Nodes attests.)

Man, nobody knew where artifact stealing effects belonged back in the day. Alladin, this guy, blue's Steal Artifact, etc. Strange stuff!

I've played in games with this card, many, many moons ago. It was actually very interesting, as very few people anticipate artifacts they control getting swpied by anything.

Particularly worth dusting off given the insane power of modern artifacts, including Platinum Angel, Eldrazi Monument, Loxodon Warhammer, etc.

3.5/5

P.S. I've always hated the picture... the guy looks like an extra on a low budget sci-fi movie.

With mirrodin and new phyrexia out, this could get fun.
