If you think about it, it's kind of like you've played a Mountain and paid for a can-tripping Bull Rush

Turn One
Goblin Guide- hit for 2
Turn Two
Teetering Peaks - Goblin Guide swing for 4
Lightning Bolt - hit for 3
Goblin grenade a goblin arsonist next turn and play another teetering peaks? 18 damage turn 3.

Regarding flavor, I imaging a goblin using the momentum of the peak collapsing to launch themselves off the rock for increased face punching.

Why waste card slots on Bull Rush when you could staple it to your Mountain?

I like this x4 in my red/black deck as I can drop Hellspark Elementals by turn three that will almost always dome for 5 with this land and makes Raging Goblins slap for 3 by turn two. Not too shabby.

It's sort of a package deal with a shock early game. I dig it. Very draftable.

I guess the creature you choose leaps up on to the teetering rock, dislodging it and causing it to hurtle down towards your opponent?
A potent card in red aggro decks helping you squeeze out an extra 2 damage for free and a mana source to boot.

As red will probably be getting infect with New Phyrexia. I could see this card being an AMAZING option for the couple of months it remains in standard.
Already in MBS you could make an efficient deck here.
You could burn/control till T4, play tempered steel.
Next turn Crack an Inkmoth Nexus, drop a Teetering Peeks, and when they try to kill it, play Emerge Unscathed.
You know have a 5/5 infect flyer that has protection from whatever color swinging, the Nexus drops back down till next turn so they get no chance to play spells on it, rinse & repeat next turn.

If you're a champ you can always grab two of these while swinging in with Primeval Titan. The look on people's faces.
