could be nice, possibly forcing a 2 for 1, although more likely they sacrifice a saproling and give their Hydra a -1/-1 counter temporarily. Still, it has potential, the only thing ruining it is the higher cost than say, arc trail and the fact that your opponent chooses. Unless you like forcing sadistic choices to make them squirm, that is always a downside.

If you could target two creatures controlled by different opponents, this would be a fantastically fun card for EDH.
