A red Fog / Holy Day / Darkness effect, cute!
Let's add a red one to that bunch called Smoke or something and a blue version as well, then we've got a complete cycle of a timeshifted version for an effect in each color :D

Is actually pretty decent tech for a mono red deck in Commander. This thing has saved my hide enough times to warrant a spot - it's not about setting up a perfect bubble against attacks, it's about making it less appealling for people to attack you instead of someone else.
Mono Red doesn't have many ways of playing the political game in the format and keeping themselves alive apart from Kazuul, Crawlspace or Ensnaring Bridge, and all of those aren't nearly as reliable. The latter two affect all the players and are magnets for removal; most people will leave this guy alone.
As someone mentioned, this should be played with Crucible of Worlds.
